The Australian National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science

The Australian National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science, at the Australian National University was the first science communication centre in Australia and is now the most diverse of its kind in the world.
The Centre’s mission is to encourage a confident democratic ownership of modern science nationally and internationally by increasing science awareness in the community, fostering public dialogue about science, and improving the communication skills of scientists.
CPAS offers bachelor, masters, PhD and MPhil degrees in science communication.
ANU CPAS was a Champion of Science Journalism in 2021.
STEM Matters

STEM Matters is a strategy and communications agency that works with clients globally to engage audiences with their research. Our specialised approach to communication will help clients become a thought leader, first choice collaborator, industry or philanthropic partner, employer or educator of choice while building clients social capital with local and global communities.
As part of our committment to championing the significance of science-based decision making throughout society, in 2020 we launched the global science communication, The Brilliant.
The Brilliant showcases innovators and leaders in STEM communication globally. We shine a light on scientists, entrepreneurs, artists, comedians, activists, poets, TikTokers, astronauts and more.
STEM Matters has been a Champion of Science Journalism since 2023.
